Albufeira
The old town still has a strong traditional feel with narrow streets and hundreds of white houses stretching out into the surrounding hillsides. The eastern side of the town is bustling with many new shops, hotels, and plenty of family bars and restaurants serving local and international cuisine.
Alvor
Alvor is a quiet resort with pretty pleasant beaches and a traditional character. It is best for couples or families looking for a resort with great sports facilities and a lovely, golden sand beach. Facilities include excellent international and seafood restaurants, bars with live music, delightful souvenir shops and a pretty marina. A natural lagoon is between the village and the sea.
Carvoeiro
Once a fishing village, Carvoeiro remains a fascinating coastal town. The rocky coastline here is home to charming caves and secluded sandy coves. There are many family orientated beaches at Marinha and Centianes which have more facilities, bars and restaurants.
Lagos
One of the oldest settlements in the Algarve, Lagos is still an established fishing port and market centre. Dunes of half-moon sands lap the calm crystal waters of this coast, which are sheltered by sandstone rocks worn into breathtaking rock formations, caves and grottoes.
Montechoro
With a stunning sandy beach, sophisticated atmosphere and beautiful environs, Montechero is excellent for those in search of a resort which successfully combines relaxation and recreation with lots to do and a stunning beach for peaceful days. Facilities include a beautiful sandy beach and a fabulous street of bars, shops and restaurants, offering cuisine varying from Chinese and Indian to traditional Portuguese. Watersports are available during summer months.
Monte Gordo

Vilamoura offers an enviable range of activities from watersports to perhaps most famously, golf. Designed to blend with the natural landscape, small, self-contained holiday villages are punctuated by pine woodlands. Vilamoura has two superb beaches - Marinha and Falesia - which complement the resort facilities.
